The Office of the Town Clerk is a direct link between the residents and their local government and provides numerous services to our residents. As of January 1, 2011, under mandate by the State, the Princetown Town Clerk's office will be issuing dog licenses, dog renewal letters and delinquent notices.

When an owner comes in for a new license or a renewal, they will be issued a Town of Princetown dog tag. The Agriculture and Market tag will no longer be valid after the license expiration date. That number will only be used as a reference number.

Dogs that are four months of age and older must be licensed. Current rabies certificate will be required and if the dog has been altered, that certificate will also be required. Current fees are $8.00 for an altered dog, $16.00 for an unaltered dog. This is a yearly license.
